Day 9, April 4
On Cruise - Nijmegen
The River Rhine (in name) ends at the German border. Most of it's water flows on down the Waal which passes Nijmegen and this is where the ship is when we wake. Our day trip is a visit to the Paleis Het Loo, a sumptuous palace set in magnificent forest.Evening formal welcome by the Captain.

Back to the ship for lunch and an afternoon to relax and prepare for the Captain's Welcome Cocktails and the Gala Welcome Dinner. Overnight cruising to Köln which takes us out of The Netherlands into Germany
