Day 26, April 21

Homecoming - Sydney

We step out of the plane around 5:15 am. Customs and immigration is a breeze and we are greeted by a splendid sunrise. Viewed from the train at Milsons Point.

We feel very content to be home.

2017-04-20 Trip Day 25

Day 25, April 20 Singapore Didn't become conscious until 9:30 am. Must have needed the sleep! Just made it to the restaurant in time to get a good breakfast before it closed at 10:30. Did an obligatory walk around the Changi Village shopping centre (at midday - what is it they say about dogs and Englishmen?). Wonderful place if you want to eat something, but after our late breakfast, that wasn't really attractive. Our beautiful cool room felt really great after the walk. Who needs to walk to see the sights, when we can see Malaysia from our own window? Well, I think that mountain that is almost hidden in mist is Malaysia! This room includes the Singaporean oddity that i discovered on my first trip here: the picture window into the bathroom. We were able to upgrade the room to Club class at a small price so we have late checkout allowing us to rest until time to leave for the airport. Last leg.

2014-04-17 Trip Day 22

Day 22, April 17 Budapest Donal & Gaye need to rest, so Keith & Lexi walk two Km down the main street to Heroes Square and explore the park behind. There is an amazing market in progress where the most amazing food preparations are available including huge pots of soup - when I say huge, these pots are bigger than a laundry tub. In the afternoon, Donal & Gaye emerge and we take a tram ride to the end of the line. This time we manage to stay away from housing areas. Instead we have a pretty ride up into the hills of Buda
